It's Been A Good Birthday!
Even though I had to work, overall, it was a good birthday! My Boys woke me up by yelling surprise! Happy Birthday! My Mom took Baby Boy and I out for a birthday breakfast. Yummy! Then off to work, but only for a couple of hours! I came home and there were presents from The Boys and Hubby. Then Hubby cooked- well, he ordered Chinese! I didn't care though, as long as I didn't have to cook. Then off on a walk with BF, to try to walk of breakfast and chinese. When I got back home, there was ice cream cake!
I really should be out walking again to work that off! So, that all adds up to a good day! Too bad I have to open the coffee house at 5:30 in the morning! At least on Saturday mornings I can usually squeeze in some knitting time.

Yarn goodness! And an electric fondue pot! Apparently, Baby Boy told Hubby that he wanted to get me purple yarn for my birthday. What can I say, the kid knows me well! Big Boy picked out some pretty Austermann Step in red and black, Baby Boy picked out some Cascade Fixation in purple and the other skeins were from a ravelry trade that came today. So, even though that I had to get a year older, it was made easier by family and fiber!
I have been knitting too!
These are Beatrix Socks knit in Twisted Hare Fiber Arts. They perfect for my new pair of clogs.
I have a few socks in progress and a secret project that I can't show yet. I only have time for socks right now. But I will have time in a month or two for something else. We will have a busy few months now! Big Boy started soccer and will be playing tee ball again. We have a few trips coming up. I can't wait for summer!
